Online Tutoring
Online tutoring is a one-on-one, personalized service where our tutors connect with students remotely via the internet. Sessions are conducted through video calls, enhanced with features such as chat, screen sharing, document sharing, and a virtual interactive whiteboard. This method provides flexible scheduling and access to the same high-quality academic support available in-person, but from the comfort of your own home.
In-Person Tutoring
In-person tutoring is a traditional, face-to-face service where our tutors meet students at a mutually convenient location, such as the student’s home, a local library, or the University of Alberta. This hands-on approach enables immediate interaction and personalized guidance, allowing the use of physical materials and resources during the session. It creates a focused learning environment with direct, real-time feedback and support tailored to each student’s individual needs.
Group Tutoring
Group tutoring consists of classes with 10 to 20 students working together alongside our tutors in a collaborative learning environment. This format fosters peer interaction, discussion, and teamwork while enabling our tutors to provide targeted support tailored to the group’s shared learning objectives. Our group sessions offer an engaging and social approach to building understanding and reinforcing key concepts. Please note that availability is limited to select classes.

After completing our tutoring registration form, a service consultant will carefully match your child with the most suitable tutor. We consider factors such as academic strengths and challenges, learning style, personality, availability, and location to ensure the best possible fit.

Once matched, your tutor will collaborate with both the service consultant and your family to develop a customized learning plan. This plan is designed to align with your child’s academic goals and support their long-term success.
4. Tracking
We closely monitor your child’s academic progress to ensure they stay on track. Regular updates and ongoing assessments allow us to adjust the tutoring approach as needed, providing consistent support every step of the way.

I have been taking bio and chem classes for my IB diploma and my tutor has been amazing. Not only is he teaching me difficult concepts, but he has also provided me with past dipolma exams and practice questions to help me prepare for the exam. Adam currently is away for hockey academy but was struggling with science so we decided to start online tutoring classes with ScholarsPath.
